Milestone sessions are the perfect way to capture your baby as they grow and change throughout their first year! Whether you're looking to photograph your baby's smile, those first steps, or a cake smash session for a first birthday I offer personalized milestone sessions at my Erie, PA studio.
I like to photograph milestone sessions when baby is around 4 months, 8 months, and 1 year old. These sessions will focus on baby and all of the new skills they have been mastering all year long. Milestone sessions can be scheduled for older kiddos, though, too! Birthdays are the perfect time to schedule your session for an older child. You can always add on siblings and/or family photos, too!
Upon booking, every client will receive a welcome guide that details the process, a session questionnaire, and prep guide. These are vital for you and me! Your answers on your questionnaire will help me to tailor your child's session to them. The prep guide will let you know exactly what to expect from your session and how to best prepare.
Milestone sessions consist of two completely styled setups. I provide props, layers, and even outfits, so all you need to do is bring your child! Once I receive your answers to your session questionnaire, I'll be in touch with you to start the planning process.
Upon arrival the sets are ready and waiting for your child. You'll choose an outfit for you child and we'll get started! These sessions are relaxed, and I very much follow your child's lead, letting them take a break when needed.
Once your session is complete you'll receive a link to your proofing gallery. This is where you'll find the very best images from your session. You'll be able to log in and choose your favorite images. From there I'll fully edit your choices for you to download and keep. You know your family best; and I've found, without fail, that families always choose at least one or two images that surprise me! I always love seeing which images my clients have chosen!
